One of the hardest things about faith is that we rarely get the full picture.

We get a step.

Then another.

And sometimes, if we're honest, we'd really prefer the entire plan.

We want to know where we're headed.
We want confirmation we're making the right decision.

We want to know the waiting will be worth it.

But that's not usually how God works.

Isaiah 60:22 says:

"When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen."

I've noticed that God often does some of His best work in seasons that don't feel particularly impressive.

The quiet ones.

The ones where it seems like nothing is happening.

The ones we would probably skip if we had the choice.

Yet when we look back, those are often the seasons that shaped us most.

The conversation that changed our perspective.

The closed door that redirected our path.

The ordinary day that taught us to trust Him a little more.

Progress with God isn't always measured by what we accomplish.

Sometimes it's measured by how willing we are to keep walking without having all the answers.

To keep trusting.

To keep believing He's working, even when the evidence feels thin.

Not every step feels significant when you're taking it.

But that doesn't mean it isn't leading somewhere.

God has never wasted a season.

And He isn't wasting this one either.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for being faithful in every season, even the ones I don't fully understand. Help me trust Your timing and recognize that You are working in ways I cannot always see. Give me the faith to keep moving forward, knowing You are leading every step. Amen.
