Some days feel important.
The breakthrough happens.
The prayer gets answered.
The thing we have been working toward finally starts to take shape.
And then there are the other days.
The ordinary ones.
The days when we show up, do what is in front of us, and wonder if any of it is making a difference.
Those days count too.
Galatians 6:9 says:
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
There is a reason Paul talks about becoming weary.
Doing the right thing does not always bring an immediate result.
Faithfulness does not always come with confirmation.
Sometimes we keep praying and nothing seems to change.
We keep showing up and no one seems to notice.
We keep choosing what is right even when it would be easier to stop trying.
That can wear us down.
But Galatians 6:9 reminds us that we are not responsible for making the harvest happen.
We are called to keep planting.
To keep showing up.
To keep doing the good that God has placed in front of us.
A small act of kindness can matter.
A prayer no one else hears can matter.
Choosing patience again can matter.
Taking one more faithful step can matter.
We may not always get to see what God is doing with those things right away.
But unseen does not mean insignificant.
Maybe making today count is not about doing something extraordinary.
Maybe it is simply refusing to give up on the good God has asked us to do.
The harvest belongs to Him.
Our part is faithfulness.
And today still counts.
Prayer
Lord, help us remain faithful when we cannot see the results. When we grow tired or wonder whether what we are doing matters, remind us that You see every quiet act of obedience. Give us strength to keep showing up, keep doing good, and trust You with the harvest. Amen.
Live the Verse
Carry the reminder with you: The days when you keep going still count.
Make It Count is rooted in Galatians 6:9, a reminder to keep showing up, keep doing good, and trust that faithfulness has purpose even when we cannot yet see the outcome.
With faith,
